UK Education & Skills
We believe education is about more than developing practical skills. It is about building confidence, understanding, empathy and a sense of purpose. Through our partnerships with SGS College and Prospect Training Services, learners become part of the Footprints 2 Africa team. Wearing their own team shirts, working alongside volunteers and completing structured learning activities, they develop teamwork, communication, numeracy, organisation, problem solving, hand eye coordination and quality control.
Learners also explore geography, global healthcare inequalities, transport and logistics, while gaining an understanding of hidden disabilities and the importance of dignity in healthcare.
Every participant receives a workbook and a certificate recognising their achievement, leaving with valuable workplace skills and the knowledge that kindness, compassion and teamwork can change lives.
SGS College CHASE Programme
The CHASE Programme provides young adults with SEND the opportunity to build confidence, independence and practical life skills through structured volunteering.
Learners develop teamwork, communication, numeracy, organisation and problem solving while learning about hidden disabilities, dignity and healthcare inequalities.
Through interactive activities and real humanitarian work, they become valued members of the Footprints 2 Africa team.
Prospect Training Services (PTS)
Learners at Prospect Training Services gain valuable employability and workplace skills through structured volunteering opportunities that reflect real working environments.
Activities develop teamwork, organisation, communication, stock management, quality control and confidence while preparing learners for future employment.
By contributing to a humanitarian project with a global reach, participants see how their efforts can positively impact the lives of others.
