Community Volunteering
Footprints 2 Africa is proud to be 100% volunteer-led. Every donation received, every box prepared and every shipment sent is made possible by volunteers who generously give their time, skills and energy.
Whether helping at community events, operating drop off points or preparing supplies for shipment, every volunteer plays an important role in restoring dignity to people who lack access to essential medical supplies.
Community Pack A Thons
Our Community Pack A Thons bring people together to sort, count, quality check and prepare donated supplies for distribution to hospitals, healthcare partners and vulnerable individuals across Africa. These events also raise awareness of healthcare inequalities while demonstrating the power of community action.
Recent Pack A Thons have been held at:
Q Club, Gloucester
Bethel Church, Stonehouse
Together, volunteers have prepared thousands of medical supplies for people living in under resourced communities.
Community Drop Off Points
Our volunteer-led drop off points make it easier for supporters across the UK to donate. Managed by dedicated volunteers, these locations receive supplies locally before they are transferred to our main warehouse for sorting and redistribution, helping us reach more communities and increase the number of supplies available to those who need them most.
Current Drop Off Points:
- Gloucestershire – Colette & Sam
- Chester & North West England – Linsay
- Wiltshire & South Coast – Zelda
- Derbyshire & East Midlands – Meg
