Partnering for Hope and Dignity
We are thrilled to announce a powerful new partnership between Footprints 2 Africa and StomaCare Support Zambia, united by a shared mission to bring hope and essential support to ostomates across Zambia.
In Zambia, many people living with a stoma, face unimaginable challenges every day.
Some areas have as little as three hours of electricity a day, making even basic stoma care incredibly difficult. In other regions, distance and isolation mean that some ostomates are unable to access supplies at all. Trained stoma nurses are very scarce, and some ostomates haven’t seen one in years, leaving them without proper guidance or support.
Together, we want to change that, ensuring that no one is left behind. This collaboration will expand access to vital ostomy supplies, strengthen local networks of care and bring practical help and emotional support to those living in the most remote rural communities.
In April 2026, two members of the Footprints 2 Africa team will travel to Zambia for three days to help lay the foundations for long term impact. The visit will include delivering life changing supplies, supporting groundwork for future development initiatives, helping to build confidence, share knowledge and strengthen sustainable care.
Together, we’re bringing care, dignity, and connection to ostomates across Zambia, one precious bag at a time.
