Partnering for Dignity and Care – Reaching More Ostomates Across Africa

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership between Footprints 2 Africa and CANSA – The Cancer Association of South Africa. Together, we’re working to ensure that ostomates across South Africa gain access to safe, reliable stoma supplies and the dignity, comfort and care they deserve.

Across the country, too many people are still forced to use painful, makeshift solutions such as bread bags, super glue or heavy duty tape because they lack proper ostomy supplies. Through partnerships like this, that reality is changing.

All supplies were collected, sorted and prepared in the UK through the generosity of our donors and the tireless dedication of volunteers. Thanks to the support of G7 Couriers, these shipments safely arrived at CANSA on 15 October 2025. From there, CANSA will distribute these supplies to individuals most in need across South Africa.

This collaboration brings together Footprints 2 Africa’s trusted UK supply network and CANSA’s established community reach, ensuring that every donated item truly makes a difference.
