I Share What I Get with Others
Khensani, a cancer survivor of 29 years, lives with a permanent colostomy following treatment for rectal cancer. Every day, she faces the challenge of finding the supplies she needs to live with dignity. “The hospital is forever out of stock. It’s frustrating and depressing,” she says of her experience at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto.
Thanks to the kindness of UK donors through Footprints 2 Africa, Khensani now receives regular ostomy supplies that have transformed her quality of life. Despite her own struggles, she continues to share what she receives with other disadvantaged ostomates in her community.
“No magnitude of words can thank you enough. May the Good Lord bless you and extend your territories.” Her story reminds us that your donations don’t just restore dignity, they multiply hope.
